Fingers carded gently through his hair, occasionally braiding in feathers or silver rings as he thought fit. Darius had been attempting to work diligently at finalizing the details and plans for their next heists, but his fiance was making it increasingly difficult.
"How do you feel about gardenias for the wedding?" Victor's voice had his attention immediately, and Darius tilted his head slightly in thought.
"Those would look well with the venue we've picked out- and it's nice to have something other than the traditional roses." He smiled, leaning his head back to look up at his betrothed.
Victor pressed a kiss to his forehead, fingers lingering on a cluster of feathers and humming in agreement.
"I love you, you know that?"
Darius felt a smile pull at his lips. "And I love you too."
"Did you even think before you ran in there? Or are you that hellbent on getting yourself killed?" Luca's voice wasn't quite at a yell- but with how aggressive Isabelle was stitching up her shoulder currently, he didn't need to be.
"They wouldn't have stopped if I hadn'tve done anything. I refuse to let anyone be taken again. I refuse to let us go back to being under feat." Chells voice was cold in response, but it was a feeling that was felt through the room.
Isabelles hands slowed, and Luca paused for a moment before walking over and sitting beside his sibling."There is the fear of losing you, though. And I rather us get stronger together than have one go off alone and die." He wasn't looking at he as he spoke, but Chell knew. She always knew.
Luca leaned over and gently headbutted Chell, sighing. "Don't do anything too crazy without me, alright?"
Isabelle immediately hissed and swatted at Luca "you're not helping with the concussion! Go find a goat to pick a fight with not your sibling!"
He immediately laughed it off and jumped out of reach, shaking his head. "Ugh, FINE then. Chell, see me once you're rested then. We have a lot of work to do."
