Ugly. All of them, so very ugly.

If there was one thing he was quickly learning in this place it was that humans came in a lot of questionable shapes and sizes. His rather critical judgment, of course, came from growing up constantly surrounded by his beautiful halfvampire siblings, which had put a strange lens on Kou's perception. His standards had always been a bit ridiculous - because who could actually compare to him, really - but he had actually genuinely believed that most people were about as attractive as he and his siblings. Or at least some kind of reaching distance. It was a hard lesson realizing that, no... pretty much every person on this island was unfortunate. ♪

Even more than his days in the sewer, these people were walking nightmares. Their hair, their clothing... strange facial markings, discoloring, everything was wrong! A spoiled little shit he may be, but having to subject himself to looking at these people day in and day out was probably worse than the whole murder school thing anyway. Oh, right. That "thing" he was apparently "trapped" in. His underlying conscious aside, it all still seemed like a really elaborate joke. ♪

In any case, if he had to deal with filth actively moving and even speaking around his rather large vicinity of personal space, he would have his way. Nobody would be telling him how to process this island and its people (except maybe for Ruki and his other brothers but "dad" wasn't around so whatever). It would be his choice and his alone, just as everything else should be! ♪

It was time for a little fun. A... project. ♪

On this particularly boring day his first victim came in the form of a ravenette, his back turned, with... holy shit. What an exceptionally bad haircut. It was actually impressive! Was that a... oh, oh no. It was too much. So terrible, in fact, Kou just could not ignore this person. They were already so interesting, he just had to do something. Simply in his nature, of course! And wouldn't this poor, pathetic little human be so happy at his proposal, too. ♪

"Hey hey, Duck Butt-kuuuuun!" His voice would call out, tactless as ever, "Yeah, you~ with the ridiculous hair! How would you like to be made over by a famous idol?" A generous offer. A selfless one! He really was so kind, wasn't he? ♪

One of her favorite pastimes in this Academy was to people watch. Simple, yes, but entertaining. There were plenty of interesting individuals to study and she especially found it riveting when people noticed she was watching and returned her stare. However, that was very rare, since more than a few people seemed to avoid her like the plaque lately! How rude!

Even more than just watching, though-- Trying to engage in conversation with people who seemed like conversing was the last thing they wanted to do was always fun. Which is how she found herself waltzing right into the path of a young man, all smiles and attention-seeking.
