Calling All Artists! - Molly, Steve, Freya, Sam
With summertime approaching, it meant more sunny days which also meant it was nice to sit outside more often than not. That is where the day found Molly. She was near the lake with her sketchpad in her lap. An older Ravenclaw boy had once told her a story about the giant squid rescuing a first year who fell out of the boat. He had made the squid seem very caring. Molly took his word for it having never actually met the squid herself. She was so lost in trying to capture the image that she didn’t notice anyone else till they had already sat down with their own notebook.
Autumn Days are Here || Molly & Sam
Toby was getting restless and Molly also wanted to get away from her peers in the common room for awhile. It was a cool autumn day as Molly set out with her sketchbook tucked away and her cat Toby nestled in her arms. She headed out to a grassy patch just behind the school.
As soon as she let Toby down, he immediately went for the leaves. She laughed and settled down herself. She opened her sketchbook and flipped to a fresh page, pencil poised in her hand. Her gaze wandered to the pumpkin patch that was growing in the fields. All the vines were getting tangled and creating a long line of curly q’s that Molly wanted to imitate on paper. The rest of the landscape was being added when Molly heard a pair of footsteps.
Put That Thing Back Where It Came From Or So Help Me | Loki, Steve & Sam
Today really wasn't Loki's day.
He'd woken up late after having spent the night practising his apparition, which meant skipping breakfast and rushing to his first lesson. Things only got worse when, after lunch, he arrived at the potion's classroom and found that the professor had sprung a surprise essay on them - due tomorrow - in order to practice deadlines for their OWLs next year.
That wouldn't have been so bad - Loki didn't mind extra work now and again - except they were also told that the book they would need to complete it was very few in number; so few that the professor advised them to get to the library as soon as class finished, before the Hufflepuff's and Ravenclaw's were given the assignment in his next class.
The problem with this was that Loki had quidditch practice and therefore wouldn't be able to make the library straight afterwards; which was why he was now practically forcing his way through the students heading in the opposite direction - still decked out in Slytherin green and silver from practice - making a beeline for the library. He just hoped he wasn't too late.
