Why her? May 17th 2015
I am driving to a rave with three of my friends. There is nothing better than bonding with friends whom you treat as your family. I have known these guys for a very long time and it’s undeniable that I treat them like family even in my dreams. I remember making a left onto the parking lot and seeing a bunch of police cars on the side. I parked close to a cop car, I wasn't scared. I know I did nothing wrong, although all three of my friends had drugs(pills) on them(I can’t tell you where they hide it). I see two people being handcuffed and I remember clearly saying, “Damn, it sucks to be those guys.” All four of us walked towards the entrance and immediately we felt at home. The music, the vibe and the atmosphere are three elements that made us feel at home. The rave we went to almost looks like Beyond Wonderland 2014(Mountain View) There were 5 stages with one being the biggest. Dreams are not supposed to make sense, it shouldn’t. I remember dancing with my buddies and being able to socialize with other people at the same time. We were all dancing, but for some reason my car was right next to us. I remember clearly sitting on the hood of my car. Wait, didn't I leave my car next to a cop car in the parking lot? Anyway, as I was dancing, to my right about 100 feet away was my ex girlfriend. She was dancing with a person. A person I have never seen before but could remember what he looks like based on my dream. She was having the time of her life and so was I. I noticed that my ex girlfriend did not normally have her long wavy hair. It was short and she looked very mature. I could feel myself falling in love again but why? Why would I fall for my ex girlfriend again? It does not make sense. Suddenly everyone around me disappeared. It wasn’t like they gradually walked away one by one, they disappeared as if it was a person in a photo from changing the future in Back to the Future. The transition scared me, but I was still staring at her. I was jealous. I wish I was the guy she was with, even if it was just us dancing to the music. They said goodbye to each other and I knew as if I could read their lips. She gave him a big hug and she ran to me. I was sitting on the hood of my car with my head bobbing, but I was still staring at her. She found me and she gave me a hug and told me she missed me. I was speechless. Before I woke up, it was her smiling at me.
