My latest "hear me out" for my YGO AU

Post by @ravij Okay guys hear me out.. This is a real one. We all fucking hated DSoD Ryou Grandpa/'Dad'. We barely got much on OG DM Ryou dad.

What if I told you.. in my YGO AU series Child of Chaos, You're going to eventually learn about... Yami Dad aka Ryou's dad being one of the rings hosts before the ring transferred to Ryou 13 years later?

(ㅅ´ ˘ `) I present to you another wonderful commission I got from @okazaki-jian | @okazaki-trash - Haruto Kubara aka Yami Dad (Ryou's dad in my AU):

Normally average looking nerd man, history buff, ancient mythos scholarly type. But when the spirit of the ring fronts? Hair goes free, glasses come off, suspenders down, shirt untucked and then valuable shit starts disappearing. 〜⁠(⁠꒪⁠꒳⁠꒪⁠)⁠〜

Haruto won't be showing up until after the shorter (possibly 20-25 chaps) aftermath involving the Ishtar's following Sacred Game of the Gods. When it comes time to introduce him though? You'll learn all about his time with the ring sooner rather than later.

I am at a point rn where I need to work on EVERYTHING but I CANNOT invest time for everything. "But you can?" Brother/Sister no I can NOT. And I will tell you why.

You see this face? In 16 days that face is going to be physically here. With me. Sharing the same space as I am. 2 Months old, short legged, long bodied princess who I must raise to become proper ROYALTY. She will be my sole focus, my inspiration, my support, my muse, my time consumer, my love bug, my motivator, my alarm clock, my sleep depriver, my bouncing bundle of pure energy for about the next 3-4 months and adds the titles of my cardio queen, my furry endorphin supplier, my pick me upper, the thing I will push myself out of bed for every morning.

And unfortunately around that time when I can start leaving her by herself, I may be going to see Ted Lewis again if he comes back for Nostalgia Con in October. So I really need to sit down and FOCUS for the next 2 weeks to get ATLEAST the sanding projects on my table done. Because spray painting, sewing, and other crafts will be easier to accomplish with her around. Spray painting/painting in general is about a 3 min per coat deal and leave it on its own for an hour or two and come back to repeat until you're satisfied. Sewing? I don't see her being an issue, noise might spook or make her curious. The sanding however? I would have to spend 30+ mins outside due to the toxic dust particles these things can shed when you sand and she will be at the age where I won't be able to trust her inside, alone for more than 5 mins.

Anyway... Writing may be on hiatus unless I tackle it in the evening when its too dark outside to do any sanding. :>

5 Days Until-

My birthday... (ᵕ • ᴗ •) I don't really get to go out and hang with people because A. I don't have any close by IRL friends and B. Family always has scheduling conflicts and we end up celebrating multiple birthdays on a single day. So I've been treating myself! Every order I made in the past that has arrived in July or preorder I've made this month will be considered my birthday gifts to myself! My gifts so far below! :>

The most recent thing I received from myself is probably my biggest and most expensive gift. The Super Colossal Jurassic Park Spinosaurus! This thing was on my eyeball radar for quite some time cause the JP III Spino was my favorite lady. (Also surprise I'm a dino nerd!) This specific lady hails from the UK and was a STEAL for a New In Box. The next cheapest I could find was bout $50-$70 more and NOT New In Box so it wasn't guaranteed she'd be in good shape. Along with Big Momma (Mosasaur) and Giga Bae (Giganotosaurus), I still want to add an Allosaur from this line to my collection. This Spino lady needs a name but I'm coming up blank. I want to honor where she came from so any suggestions to keep her theme along with the other ladies would be great. :>

I received Giga Bae used on Jul 1st and she has a lot of white marks on her which is unfortunately common among the super colossal Giganotosaurus whether used or NiB. My friend believes its the result of a bad pour during manufacturing as my Giga is not the only one out there with these markings. The plastic is strong in these areas and not brittle but I will likely give her a new paint job to hide these. Otherwise she's in superb condition for being a used product!

On July 3rd I gave to myself my very first Setesh figurine! A lil Aaru Garden Setesh! He has a red chase variant that I'm debating pulling the trigger on, but he's such a cute lil shite that I decided to order another chase variant of Anubis which is Wepwawet. It's very rare you see ANYTHING Wepwawet so I had to have The Opener of Ways. He should arrive sometime next month I hope. (unless he gets Stolen if UniUni is the final mile carrier ._. My last package from UniUni got stolen.)

On the same day as my Spino I received from myself my Petadoll YGO shipment! This is the complete set and I have not removed them out of their individual boxes yet... its a very tiresome day. uvu I also have a lot of doujinshi potentially coming this month as well! At least 30 comics including a very special and rare find and a rare pair! I will make a separate post for those as well as once I bust out my Petadolls! :>

I didn't get to finish anything this weekend cause of some major stress triggering BPD and I've just been... trying to distract myself with watching movies and vibing to music. I kept walking by my Cosplay project and saying "After X activity I will jump right on it." And just not doing it. ૮(◞ ‸ ◟ )ა Hoping tomorrow I can atleast work out and put this horrible past weekend behind me.

Tiny 1/12th of a Man Obtained

I have obtained a tiny sun-tanned man. Gonna be on the hunt for a custom 1/12th head sculptor to make a realism based TKB head. I also intend to get a 1/6th size down the road. Also gonna make him some clothes! This is the TBLeague super articulated line. Both their 1/12 and 1/6 models are super flexible with interchangeable hands and heads. A lil more affordable than a dolfie-like ball jointed doll but just as fun! :>

I'm fixing to get back into a work out routine on Wed where she will just have to sit and watch from her pen. I also need to start doing some work on TKB costume.
