Okay guys hear me out.. This is a real one. We all fucking hated DSoD Ryou Grandpa/'Dad'. We barely got much on OG DM Ryou dad.
What if I told you.. in my YGO AU series Child of Chaos, You're going to eventually learn about... Yami Dad aka Ryou's dad being one of the rings hosts before the ring transferred to Ryou 13 years later?
(ㅅ´ ˘ `) I present to you another wonderful commission I got from @okazaki-jian | @okazaki-trash - Haruto Kubara aka Yami Dad (Ryou's dad in my AU):
Normally average looking nerd man, history buff, ancient mythos scholarly type. But when the spirit of the ring fronts? Hair goes free, glasses come off, suspenders down, shirt untucked and then valuable shit starts disappearing. 〜(꒪꒳꒪)〜
Haruto won't be showing up until after the shorter (possibly 20-25 chaps) aftermath involving the Ishtar's following Sacred Game of the Gods. When it comes time to introduce him though? You'll learn all about his time with the ring sooner rather than later.
I am at a point rn where I need to work on EVERYTHING but I CANNOT invest time for everything.

You see this face? In 16 days that face is going to be physically here. With me. Sharing the same space as I am. 2 Months old, short legged, long bodied princess who I must raise to become proper ROYALTY.
She will be my sole focus, my inspiration, my support, my muse, my time consumer, my love bug, my motivator, my alarm clock, my sleep depriver, my bouncing bundle of pure energy for about the next 3-4 months and adds the titles of my cardio queen, my furry endorphin supplier, my pick me upper, the thing I will push myself out of bed for every morning.
And unfortunately around that time when I can start leaving her by herself, I may be going to see Ted Lewis again if he comes back for Nostalgia Con in October. So I really need to sit down and FOCUS for the next 2 weeks to get ATLEAST the sanding projects on my table done. Because spray painting, sewing, and other crafts will be easier to accomplish with her around. Spray painting/painting in general is about a 3 min per coat deal and leave it on its own for an hour or two and come back to repeat until you're satisfied. Sewing? I don't see her being an issue, noise might spook or make her curious. The sanding however? I would have to spend 30+ mins outside due to the toxic dust particles these things can shed when you sand and she will be at the age where I won't be able to trust her inside, alone for more than 5 mins.
Anyway... Writing may be on hiatus unless I tackle it in the evening when its too dark outside to do any sanding. :>

Getting closer to the end of May and my mood is steadily improving. I hate how from January to end of May my mood on any given day is going to be an absolute gamble. But honestly all the trauma and loss in my life that happened within a 5 month period in 2024 is still kind of fresh and it's probably going to take a while to where it doesn't effect me as badly as it has been since then.
However thank you all for being with me. Appreciate it. And thank you for sticking with me when I go nuclear during those months lol....I know it sucks to see and hear my spiral but I've taken steps to mitigate things when it does happen. Such as writing up vent post, publishing it, then deleting it like an hour to half a day later. I don't ever really mean what I say in those posts and I try to tag it appropriately so people know to ignore it and not blow it out of proportion.
Unfortunately some people DO take it and blow it out of proportion like its a Breaking News Alert to everyone, everywhere and this honestly makes the situation for me worse. Please do not do this. It's happened more than twice and I do not appreciate it. If you are that concerned about me, try reaching out to me privately. If you can't reach me for whatever reason right then and there? Wait. Honestly just please fucking wait. 99% of the time my mood will improve after sleep and means of communication will be reopened.
With that all said though, please expect a special something in regards to my fanfic Sacred Game of the Gods next month.

Me looking up basic foods high in protein cause the Fitness Manager said I was lacking and need to eat more (or add supplements) if I want to have the tone I want with my future body.
My inner TKBakura is screaming for me to not try Chickpeas.

But hey lets give it up for cottage cheese being the second highest protein content per serving outperforming Chicken and Beef.
I can now not unsee a modern TKBakura like in those 3 AM shredded cheese kitchen runs, perched on the counter top eating nothing but Cottage Cheese and Tofu for his daily protein intake in the darkness with only the fridge light illuminating this magnificent cryptid.
At last... everything back in my closet. Maintenance man finally came over Wed + Thursday to install additional support brackets for my top shelf and I had shoved EVERYTHING in my bedroom, since last Sunday.
Now all my plastic is in its right place and actually allows me better access to my closet. Yipee! I can actually see every single kit I own without half of it hiding behind other kits.
I also now can reach my windows and draw the curtains in my bedroom for that natural light! Yay!
