‘ there’s still room for adventure & there is no one i’d rather have by my side. ’
How odd. Why was Ravi acting so affectionate all of a sudden? Was he now suddenly realizing that Princess Rapunzel was, and always will be, his one true love? Was it her cute red nose? The white face paint made from imported white shells? Or the wig? Neither brunette or blonde, no! He was into redheads and redhead alone!
“Wow…” She was blushing underneath her paint and puffy sleeves. What a shame the strawberry jam smeared on her cheeks was hiding it. “I never thought you’d get so cute from— do you like clowns that much?” @ravirider
a colored version of this eyyy
@asundrop: ... Ravi did know a lot (if his grand stories of far off places and daring adventures were as far off and daring as he claimed) and it made her question their budding connection at times. Her full eighteen years of life could be summarize in half a page… he had books and books of experience.
So… if someone like him could see her as an adventure worth taking then maybe, juuust maybe, she should see herself as that too.
Unable to feign even a sliver of self-assurance at this time she did the second best thing, she kissed his cheek. “Thank you,” it was more of a hum just as her lips left his cheek, “I’m glad the Great Ravi Rider can describe me as not boring.”
@ravirider: ... the kiss made him literally stop in his tracks. He thought that as she first pulled her head away from the embrace that she was going to settle back into her previous flopped position – but instead his cheek was met with her small token of gratitude. Not known to the both of them, but the pink in his cheeks matched hers for a moment before he regained his calm, cool composure with a little laugh and continued walking again.

He’s so witty! Honestly Ravi is literally the wittiest person Rapunzel knows and idk if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. He’s also so sooooft when he wants to be? He respect her. He appreciates her. He reminds her that she’s strong and able with support and love. Ravi’s a babe and she loves him.Least favorite thing about them: Why can’t he and Pascal get along? Why must they fight? Rapunzel has TWO hands.
the stables just before daybreak
Fantasy Setting Prompts 𓂃。⋆ ✧🪞 ( accepting ) . @ravirider
Seeking refuge from the midnight rain in a stable they’d stumbled upon might seem romantic for any other pairing — the charged silence as they wade through ankle-high waters, the shivering that follows after, their clothes soaked thoroughly through — but this is Adelaide Diane Triton and Ravi Rider we’re talking about. And a sweet, innocent bud of romance between them will only bloom when the sun burns bright green, and when lobsters climb trees.
Still, when she stirs and flutters her eyes open, as the last drops of moonlight begin to fade along the Earth, and she notices she’d curled up against him in their sleep, she doesn’t seem all that …horrified. In fact, she pauses, savoring the stillness she knows won’t last — he’ll wake up soon — and peering up at him with a gentle curiosity. Her features seem softer. She doesn’t look quite so cold, or cruel, or wicked — no, it’s a very different sort of Adelaide that gazes upon him now. The sort of Adelaide that only ever surfaces when there’s no one to perform for.
With a careful touch, like a gardener nurturing the tender petals of a peony, she hovers a hand over his face, gently brushing a wisp of his hair aside. And if there’s a ghost of a smile on her face, if she laughs under her breath — no, there is no such thing.
But the moment passes, as they always do. She turns away, blinks hard, shakes her head clear, and stretches slow and languid — like a cat waking up from a dream. Without looking back, she rises and slips out into the strange town they’ve found themselves in, leaving the warmth behind before she could think about it any longer.
This guy...was a killjoy. By this point he should have figured that most adults were yet the cub was intrigued by Ravi's reply. "They are? Wait, like you grow them? Like leaves on a tree?" That had to be it, right? That had to be the only explanation for anything, then again the animal had no idea how accessories work so it was only natural that he had come to that specific conclusion.
The comment still made him curious though. "Do they need water? What about sleep? Food? How do those things work? Do they have names?" Question upon question was asked sparking one after another since Simba wanted, and needed, more information to understand things especially when it came to humans. "Why are they so small? Can I see 'em?" Hopefully the human could deal with them all...

❝ loosen the grip on your pride for one blasted moment, won’t you? ❞
Baldur's Gate Sentence Starters. "You first, Ravi... Priiiiider." She sticks her tongue at him. Their egos must die together, like Romeo and Juliet, or something like that. "Big words coming from you, huh. I don't think you've ever been un-prideful your entire life. You know, I bet the minute you were born you probably asked for a mirror so you could stare at your radish-baby-face to make sure all two of your hairs were in place perfectly."
