Day 4 of Week 2: Raw Food. Week 1 finished on a very good note. I felt more energetic again and started running and exercising again. I wake up more easily and feel and know the difference between thirst and hunger. I've lost 6lbs. Week 2 has had its own challenges. It's been difficult to come up with genuine raw dishes. I eat a lot of kale salads. I've had more spring rolls (and learned -duh!- that rice paper is not raw) than I ever planned to with homemade peanut sauce (totally amazing but again, learned that natural peanut butter is not raw) l. So a friend was nice enough to allow me to drag him to #rawlicious for dinner. It was tasty, but I find #RawAura does raw vegan food much better. I'd like to learn how Rawlicious makes the onion bread for the sandwiches. That was really neat and tasty! My creative juices haven't been flowing as much as I had hoped this week. I still make protein smoothies and juice to supplement my diet this week, so I am still, for the most part raw, but I am not living up to 100% whole foods. If anyone has any suggestions for raw food dishes to get me through the rest of the week - and to start Week 3: Raw till 4, please share! 😍😀 (at Hamilton, Ontario)
