Night of the Creeps (1986) - Directed by Fred Dekker
Night of the Creeps will be released on Collector’s Edition Blu-ray on May 28 via Scream Factory. It will feature a reversible sleeve with the VHS cover on one side and the original poster on the other.
In addition to the Blu-ray, the deluxe edition will include an 8” action figure of Tom Atkin’s character, Detective Cameron, made by NECA; an 18x24 poster designed by Devon Whitehead (pictured below); and a second slipcover with Whitehead’s art. Limited to 3,000, the set is available for $69.99 exclusively at Shout Factory.
The 1986 sci-fi/horror/comedy is written and directed by Fred Dekker (The Monster Squad). Atkins stars alongside Jason Lively, Jill Whitlow, Steve Marshall, Wally Taylor, Bruce Solomon, and Robert Kino.
Special features will be announced in April, but the company confirms that all extras from the previous Blu-ray will be ported over and new extras are underway. It will include both the theatrical cut and the director’s cut.
Read on to see Whitehead’s new poster in all its glory.
