1. my parents are divorced
2. despite tons of disagreements on philosophy and ideology (mostly religion tbh) we respect each other
3. when i was a kid, my dad would make really really good fried potatoes, bacon/turkey, and eggs most sunday mornings and i think that’s when it felt most like a family
