He studied law to become a public defender and help families and other young kids that are going through the same struggles he and his family did.
He’s very involved in the community but is also a workaholic.
He has commitment issues when it comes to relationships after his last serious relationship ended badly.
He’s homosexual/homoromantic.
He’s very reserved and seemingly quiet. He’s very observant, generous, selfless and dedicated. Loyal to the core. Easy to approach. Friendly.
He can also be stubborn. He holds to his own opinions and judgement very strongly. He doesn’t speak of his feelings easily and keeps most of his emotions to himself.

i haven’t had the time to write a full length biography for max, so i’m gonna try to cover the basics of her personality, then bullet point a bit about her past, i guess

her dad is a lawyer and has always wanted his children to be lawyers too, so that has been Maxine’s goal from a very young age
and although she’s always doubted if that’s what she really wanted, she went with it because she wanted to honor her father
she was a grade A student throughout high school, and graduated top of her class, getting a partial scholarship to georgetown university, in dc
she moved to the capital at 18, and graduated at 22 witth honors, top 3 of her internacional relations class
got right away into the university of georgia law school
after barely a year of it, she just realized that wasn’t really what she was happy doing
she honestly had no idea of what she wanted to do with her life, but law school wasn’t it
so she quit and just stayed put for like a year, and during that year she cultivated, secretly, the idea of joining the army
when she brought it up to her father, it was like he’d rather see her dead already than joining the army, and told her he didn’t want her to do it
she went “how bout i do anyway”
she spent the next 8 years and few months in between working at the base, and serving in iraq
she’s seen a lot of fucked up shit happen, seen a lot of friends die or get like, really hurt
she almost died once, but she acts like that memory is no big deal to her when it clearly is
her superior started noticing her anxious behavior in the first months of 2016, and by september she was being temporarily cut off from duty in iraq
so she moved back to pensacola and works at one of the army facilities in the city,
meanwhile she’s just trying to get better (or at least look like she’s better) so she can get back on duty
but being back in town and facing her father was kinda shitty, and he convinced her to get back into law school
she compromised, even though university is just making her anxiety worse
ANYWAY, that was it? i guess?? i’ll be setting up a connections page and an about page for Max later on, so you’ll know a bit more about this messy woman. until then, hmu for plots!!!!
