High Tide might've been trying his damnedest to keep the young recruit away, to keep him from finding out just how grumpy the mech could be--but Hot Shot was persistent, and was excited any time he found a mech worth his attention.
So here was have Hotshot, a little worried about the fact that he'd befriended a Con the night before, making his way to High Tide's side with a grin. "Helllloooo~! I've searched this boat all over. It's like you're hiding or something!"

And said Rescue Bot hits the ground with a yelp, his optics wide at the sight of something far different from Grimlock. "W-woah! Watch out! You could crush a bot!" Hotshot exclaims, even as he looks her over to make sure she's okay.
Is that Heatwave he just caught sight of? Should the young recruit approach? Heās not totally sure.
Don't worry about it... they're afts. If bee can be friends with knock out, a former con so can you. Frag them and do what you gotta do. Plus ain't the war over for your universe?
"...Bumblebee is friends with a Con?" Color the recruit surprised although he's not entirely sure about the war tidbit. "I mean... supposedly? I haven't really been keeping up on that. I'm a Rescue Bot not a Fighter bot."
