brooks was never one for long car rides. he dreaded them, especially when he had to drive. if it was anyone other than carina in the car, there was no way he'd ever pull this prank on them. 'man, im exhausted.' he yawned, letting his head and hands fall, pretending to doze off while he knee steadied the wheel.

Headcanon 1

When he had first learned there was going to be a new addition to the family, Marinus reacted with ecstatic joy. He finally wasn’t going to be the baby anymore, and it would be his turn to have an adorable little clone to order around. But then Serena came into the world, flaming hair and all, the spitting image of their mother unlike the previous three, and Marinus instantly found himself once again (happily) catering to someone else’s needs.

Headcanon 2

Whenever he has free time in between classes, Marinus sometimes lets himself into Serena’s room if he’s feeling a bit peckish, and happily helps himself to some of her snacks. He thinks of it as compensation for... well, whatever reason he can think of that day.
