Mora had never in his existence claimed to be a people person, but he did claim to be an excellent observer of people; a man with one heel of his boot rather worn down, for example, was a man who walked too heavily on the one leg... an old injury of the hip was likely, or perhaps he merely worked as a labourer, often carrying heavy objects on that same side.
Ipso facto, a young woman wandering (seemingly) aimlessly through the market and subtly looking over her shoulder every so often was a woman who was hunted. Yet when it became clear to him every subtle glance was aimed at another market-goer, Mora knew then she was no frightened girl. She was not hunted, she was THE HUNTER.
He smiled softly beneath his hood and casually passed the young hunter by, purposefully murmuring “The market is full of thieves and ne’er-do-wells these days” when close enough to be heard above the everyday din.
