Risograph Color Sciences Multipack!! Back in stock.

I’m happy to announce a new edition of the Riso Color Sciences Multipack. It’s a little different than before!! I’m using a new blue ink for most of the charts - it’s called “SKY blue” and it’s a both lighter and brighter than my old cornflower blue. I have one chart in cornflower so you can still compare. The rest all have different red inks that I’ve found useful in different ways. (orange-red, fluorescent pink, and fluorescent red). This current edition has two sample prints as well, to demonstrate how I use these color charts. My dog is in both of the sample prints.

If you already have a Multipack, and you’re interested to see what a difference a small ink change can make in a combined color packet, then I recommend checking this out!

But of course the main thing about the Multipack is the instructional guide, which remains unchanged. It outlines how and why I mix risograph colors the way I do. There are many ways to do this! And I hope you’ll get ideas for new ways to “mix things up.”

FAST UPDATES

I just reprinted the Riso Color Sciences Multipack with some new colors and sample prints. It looks great. Been working on this for a while but something about my personality - I don’t like announcing things until I’m sure they’re gonna happen. Well it’s happening. New BRIGHT LIGHT blue color which Retro Jam calls “SKY” and I’m also including one chart with the old Cornflower Blue for comparison - Retro calls this “MIZU” (i.e. “water”) and I still like it. But I’ve reprinted all the charts with this new color SKY and the results are really interesting. I’ll post a couple comparisons. I’ll make it available on my website HERE. It rules!!!

I’ll be in Viborg, Denmark next week. I’m teaching half of a workshop with Elle Michalka on Background Design for animation, and comics. It’ll be fun!

SF Supplementary File #5 is almost done printing. It will be awesome!!! Coming real soon. I already printed the covers and they look SICK. Just have to print the insides. By the way - this zine will not be expensive like my last few zines have been.

I have a couple very cool projects coming soon after.
