anyways im not sure where this is going (im just spitballing all of this lmao)
and these arent like specific au hcs either its really just a bunch of random hcs and she happens to be muslim lol
okay so maureen talks with her hands a lot and thats not even a headcanon its literally canon ive studied her movements
she has so many dresses!!! and theyre all v floral she loves floral print dresses and its so cool
she has literally 7 drawers of hijabs like same lmao
and two other ones of the fancier ones for eid and stuff ykno
she and magnus have swaped a lot of scarves bc it turns out hes collected some really nice ones
her favorite bird is a hummingbird

she also likes flowers unlike /some/ people who dont even have a fave flower

anyways maureen brown and that time she was so stressed for exams her room turned into hell
and magnus would know. hes been to hell.
shes really good at climbing trees like wth shes so fast at it its scary
and by that shes also learned how to climb to the roof of her house but her parents don’t know
and shes such a fucking nerd she has a blanket and brings small snacks + her phone
its the best at night bc its all dark and starry and she loves it
she has her own room and its like a cross of mermaids and space
like the ceiling is decorated like space and the planets and space and hell even glows at night
and it comes down halfway down the walls and then it meets like the sea
and the rest of the walls are decorated as the sea and one has an island drawn on it and another has some mermaid splashing around in it
and it looks so fucking cool like waoh
and her closet is pushed against one wall but it has a full mirror on it so yknow it works
and her room is v ! like theres a tv and her bed is really comfy and her drawers and everything is so cool
uhh okay so her quran is very properly placed on her bookshelf properly and yes she does it every night
she kinda has to lmao like when she was 9ish she made a promise to Allah and if They fulfilled it she’d do it everyday
and they did and she keeps her promises so yknow
(also not to mention the consequence for breaking a promise to Allah)
anyway she had braces

one time she was sick and simon like an idiot moved her tissue box and then was terrified to tell her he did it
clary didnt want to go in because she looked disgusting so she threw a box at her

maureen gets really inspired by random things
and when she gets really into it her entire floor is gone its just papers and scribbles
and like damn anything else she needs to finish it and she plays chords on her guitar and simon shows up to help
her window leads to her backyard and she runs laps to get energy flowing thru her
she has a really small playground too like a small slide and swings
and a hot tub but her familys never used it like wth??
she has a pet cat and the cat spends the most amount of her time in maureens room and its p awesome
maureen actually like cleans her room
because have you ever tried convincing a muslim parent that your messy room is fine?? lol you die so
she plays music in her room and idk its chill
