When she came back to WWE Nikki was well aware of what brand she would end up on, as well as people, that will be around most of the time. Her breakup with John wasn’t the nicest one, but she was willing to try and be a professional. Bryan was a big help too, stepping in when the situation was crucial, but aside from that her life was pretty good. Until she found herself interested in the commissioner of SmackDown, Shane McMahon himself. It was wrong, but as usual, her brain wasn’t cooperating with her heart. The denial of having any kind of romantic feelings towards practically her boss was a constant part of her day, but seeing him almost every day - if not during the actual part of the show but on Talking Smack or at the talent meetings was making things harder. But in the end, it was her heart that won the battle.

Finding Shane’s office for the night was easy enough, stepping inside was just as easy, but her next actions weren’t that easy to do, at least right away. Stepping in front of him, the Bella Twin simply went in for a kiss, cupping the side of the older man’s face in her palm. If there were any worries about him pushing her away, they all went out of the window when he kissed back. placing his hands on her waist to pull her closer. Softly, the brunette pulled away, her cheeks becoming red as she bit her bottom lip and looked at Shane from under her lashes. “I’m not getting fired after this, am I? It’s not like you would be wrong about doing something about me barging in and kissing you but it’s not some kind of joke or whatever...”Here she goes, mumbling like a schoolgirl that was caught making out with her crush in a janitor’s closet. “Sorry...”

The the burn across his cheek delivered by her palm should have been the wake up call he needed. But he’d felt her respond to his kiss, more than that... To him. There was no way it could all be happy ever after in the McMahon-Helmsely household if the Billion Dollar Princess was pressing herself up against some sell out from Iowa.

His boots dragged across the expensive carpet and he revelled in the idea of messing it up. Wipe his feet on it and ruck up the fibres. Leave boot polish and blood ingrained deep so she thinks of him every time she looks to where he stood.

It didn’t take much for Seth to be back in Stephanie’s personal space again. Palms pressed to her hips as he nudged her back towards her desk. A sly little grin playing on his lips.
