weird work day

essentially i feel like talking about racial prejudice in china is so multi-layered and frustrating. ie. i don't want to call chinese people out on racism because i'm not from this country and my chinese lineage is very slight and at the same time i have to constantly check my own privilege and cultural bias. i'm sometimes unsure of how to bring myself my personhood and my representations into my professional life. i'm afraid of being "too wild" so i tend to air on the side of being a cutout resume toting h&m pantsuit. i'm so confused about what my co-workers want from me. and it was like why am i not more concerned about what i want from me.
