Club Making

If you are like me, you have aspirations of being able to do all facets of custom club making yourself.  Here are some videos that may help you in this endeavor:

Getting the shaft off and back on:

Seems easy enough.  The heat gun is around $35 at Lowes/Home Depot, and a the shaft extractor being used could be had from GS for $70.  You can also get the epoxy ($10), and shafting beads ($11) from GS.

Trimming the shaft:

Chop Saw can be had from Lowes/Home Depot for $190.

And then of course, this process would not be complete without re-gripping the clubs:

The grip take can be had from GS for $10, and solvent for another $10.

It appears you can have a full workshop for around $340.  Not a horrible price, but would probably take you a couple of years to get your money back if you are paying for someone to be doing this for you right now.
