Album Number Four Hundred Fifty. “Phantoms” is the third studio album by English new wave band #thefixx , released in August 1984 by MCA Records. My copy is on #mcarecords - MCA-5507. It contains the American hit "#areweourselves ?", which reached No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the fall of 1984. The song hit No. 1 on Billboard's Album Rock Tracks chart, staying at the summit for several weeks. It was also assisted by a popular MTV music video. It was the group's most successful studio album, reaching No. 8 on the Billboard albums chart and eventually selling two million copies in the United States alone. The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA. It was certified platinum in Canada in November 1983. The album's cover art was provided by #georgeunderwood , who went on to illustrate future #thefixx releases including Phantoms (1984), Calm Animals (1989), and #beautifulfriction (2012). My copy is on MCA Records - MCA-5419. #reachthebeach contains their best-known and highest charting single, "#onethingleadstoanother ", which reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. #rockandroll #theeighties #alfieagius , #cycurnin , #rupertgreenall , #jamiewestoram , and #adamwoods ..
