Re-acquaintance
Hold his breath? Oh. Well, that was new; he still wasn’t really used to Quaid’s different methods frankly. He had been burnt by acid once and realised it was pretty much how water felt (just that acid actually left a physical wound), so he was more than happy to hold his breath and not move; he didn’t want that crap on him.
He couldn’t very well see how it was working; being his back towards the wall and moving was a no. Not to say talking.
He left the (closed) container and his scavved supplies behind to pick up later, aside from a neutralizing agent he poured a little liberally over the acid once the bar was eaten through. Quaid quickly went to hold Kherus up to keep him from falling. "Can you walk?" he said the second he pulled the gas mask off with his free hand. "Actually do you think you can stand?"
