-because he’s from the States he’d be very open minded, and only care about your happiness-

-he’d be very understanding, well try his hardest to be; he’d make sure to ask you important questions that way he didn’t accidentally hurt you in some way-
“Oh um what pronouns would you prefer?” “Are there some petnames that are off limits for you?”
-then he’d proceed to do lots of research to insure you’ll always be 100% comfortable-
Jackson;
-immediately would began to call you by your preferred pronouns, and do practically anything you wanted, but still would be weary when it came to certain things due to being afraid of making you uncomfortable-
*is around the other’s while you’re in your room working on the computer, the others bring you up and start chatting about you* “They really are the sweetest, aren’t they?” *the others question why he’s referring to you as they instead of her, so he automatically starts explaining everything to them* “You guys better not mess up their pronouns, it’s important to them so it’s important to me.”
Jaebum;
-he’d never been friends with or dated someone who was nonbinary; he’d have so many questions, but would be nervous as hell the entire time-
“I just want you happy, you’re still my baby, y/n.” “Just tell me everything I should know, I- I really am not sure what’s appropriate to ask.”
Youngjae;
-though he’d know very little about the subject, he’d make sure to be very attentive, listening to everything you said and silently taking mental note of everything as he tightly holds your hand-
Bambam;
-more than likely would be the most confused, and would just keep everything in mind; then later goes to Mark, Jinyoung, and Jackson to ask them about it-
“Okay, so y/n said they’re non-binary..and like I understand a little, because they vaguely explained it to me, but I need help trying to understand it more.” *they tell him to go back and ask you to give him a more in depth explanation* “NO! THEY”LL I DON’T WANT THEM TO THINK I WASN’T LISTENING!” “I don’t want them upset with me.”
Yugyeom;
-after you and him talk about it, he takes it upon himself to do more research but still ends up coming back to you to ask more questions-
*takes you out for some food, and while the two of you start eating he ends up bombarding you with questions* “What other pronouns are acceptable besides they/them? Or do you specifically just prefer those?” “What about nicknames?” “Should I correct everyone who gets your pronouns wrong or are there some cases where you would let it slide?”
