Warped tour experience.
Okay, so I got there with my friends at around 8:30 am then we got to skip the line cause we brought in used phones, then we waited for the gates to open. Once they opened, we RAN down to see the inflatable thing that shows you all the times and such. We saw that Of Mice & Men played at the Kia Soul Stage at 12 pm so then me and one friend went to search for merch, while two other friends saved us places at the stage. We went to the Pierce the Veil, Miss May I, and Man Overboard tents. Then, we came back and saw Of Mice & Men. Honestly, it was OUTSTANDING. I opened up a pit, went into the wall of death, got in the mosh pit, and surfed the crowd (well, kinda.. I fell into where there were like small teenage girls so... guess what happened -.-) When they played Second & Sebring, I started to cry, I was screaming the lyrics and ugh, it was amazing, okay? :c I felt VERY nauseous after they played, I almost threw up -.- I had to sit down at a random place for a while till I felt better. I started to walk around with a friend, and I tore off the Of Mice & Men poster and The Ghost Inside posters from the gates, and I saw Zac from Man Overboard just walking around and I asked him for his autograph c: We did a lot of walking afterwards and I ended up going by the Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! tent and bought a shirt and a poster. I passed by The Ghost Inside tent and bought a shirt. At 2 pm, there was a signing with The Ghost Inside. I got a poster signed by everyone in the band, got autographs from everyone, got my Ghost Inside shirt signed, and gave Jonathan my letter written to the band. He told me, "Oh wow, I'll read this later cause I have to sign everyone else's stuff. Come back in a couple of minutes, alright?" So then I grabbed all my autographed stuff, and caught up with a friend. I returned to the tent where they were signing like 10 minutes later and I saw Jonathan at the tent looking at New Found Glory's set from afar. When I called out "Jonathan!" he saw me, and hugged me and said, "Thank you so much for this letter. It means a lot. I love you." and gave me another hug (: A bit later, I got a notification from twitter. It said that The Ghost Inside tweeted me! They tweeted, "thanks for the letter Claudia. Keep your head up. People like you are the reason we’re a band. See you soon!" I started to freak out and I got really happy and I got teary eyed c': I went to the Motionless In White tent cause my friend asked a question, and I got the AP Magazine issue #289.1 poster. Me and my other friends went to go see Miss May I over going to the Chelsea Grin meet and greet... BIG mistake. Don't get me wrong, I like Miss May I but... their set was just awful. It was so boring and literally, every 2 seconds Levi shouted "Yeah, all you metal heads put your horns up!" and "We're the metalest band on Warped Tour!" and it got really irritating cause Miss May I isn't even metal compared to ACTUAL metal bands. Anyways, I tore off a Glasscloud poster lol. After that I separated from my friends cause they went to get in line for the Pierce the Veil meet and greet, while I tried to go find the Monster Energy stage to go see The Ghost Inside. I got fucking lost and then it was like 4:36 and I just said, "Fuck it. I'm not gonna find them :/" and then I just bought a soda and went walking on my way to the Fearless Records tent. While walking, I heard The Ghost Inside playing! I was like, "No fucking way!, I need to follow where the sound is coming from." So I walked and walked and I found the stage! I was just standing outside the pit drinking my soda then I was like, "You know what? Fuck this soda. I'm getting in the pit to see my favorite band." and then I was there. They played about 4 more songs after I got there and ugh, it was so much fun. Then, I saw my friends waiting in line and moved them up closer cause I found these kids from school that we knew. After that, we went to the Sleeping With Sirens tent and I bought a tank top, and went to the Vans Warped Tour tent a bought a shirt. I saw that Austin Carlile was going to be at the Aspire & Create tent at 6:30 signing stuff, but... you needed a wristband. I just really needed to give him my letter I wrote to the band. Me and a friend sat down behind the tent for a while, then we saw people getting lined up and walked over there. The girl was like, "Everyone, show me your wristbands!" and I got really nervous and so did my friend cause we didn't have any! We didn't wanna get kicked out or anything. Luckily, we avoided them to see that we don't have bracelets. While waiting in line, I noticed that Joe from Transit walked right by me. I wanted to get an autograph. He was walking fast as hell and I said, "Ugh, nevermind." but then my friend was like, "Oh my fucking god, just go! I'll wait here." and I got an autograph c: Then, we got to meet Austin <3 We were crying. It was so unreal. At first I said, "I don't have a bracelet, but I just need to give you this letter." then me and my friend have him our letters. Austin said, "Awh, I love these love letters. Means a lot! You guys want anything signed?" and hugged us. Then my friend gave him a dog tag to sign and I got an autograph. We got hugged again! I was fucking crying oh my god. Then he said, "You guys want a picture?!" Then my friend and Austin took a picture together and then Austin asked me if I wanted a picture too. At first I said, "No! I look like shit :c" and Austin said, "Awh, no! This picture can only be to yourself if you want!" then my friend pushed me to him and he hugged me really tight and we took a picture. After, he kissed my cheek <3 Then we hugged him again. During all of that we were telling him how much we love him c: Austin is the sweetest person ever, we left crying cause we were so happy we met him without needing a bracelet. He's such a good person, he was there signing for at least two hours or something. We went to see Pierce the Veil for like 4 songs then we left cause we wanted to catch Sleeping With Sirens too. Pierce the Veil was great and Sleeping With Sirens were also great. And that's the end. Warped Tour 2012 was fucking amazing.
