Octavia: Oh, well now, would you look at that!  I suppose this is as good a reason to post today as any.

Hello again, everyone!  This last month or so has been so busy for us; we fine-tuned Vinylbot to make sure she’s functioning properly, took care of the triplets when they briefly caught the sniffles, and I even performed at another lavish event...one that may not have ended quite as well as expected, but given the previous incidents I’ve been involved with, it was practically perfect in comparison.  And I do apologize for not reporting such things to you all as they happened, but...well, I suppose maintaining this blog isn’t high on our list of priorities right now.  With that said, of course, do not think we have forgotten about you all entirely; you are all still wonderful, and we hope to satisfy your requests when we have the time to!  Thank you, and good day!

Octavia: ...Right then.  They each say “anonymous submitted to...” now, but in our inbox, they had those titles of Musician, Dancer, and Singer.  Perhaps I should have screen-capped them before posting, but I highly doubt that such a small detail would make those messages become sensible...

...Also, if by making them public, I have somehow released some kind of malevolent force upon the world, then I do humbly apologize for my actions.

Octavia: Good evening, all!  Apologies for taking so long to address your concerns over strange things happening lately; it took longer than I expected to fully clean up the mess from back on April Foals.  So many feathers...

...Ahem, moving on!  Since I still have no adequate response to the communications other than befuddlement, I may as well make them public, and give you all the freedom to interpret them however you wish.  So...enjoy?

Octavia: I do?  Yes!  I was a tad worried when Priddy got involved and I thought the joke was spiraling out of control…but if I got this reaction from you, then I suppose it was all worth it in the end.

Now, if you excuse me, I need to get some sleep.  I’ll get around to cleaning up this GOOP later…and the feathers…and the stuff from Priddy’s pockets.  Not sure what that stuff actually was, but I doubt that it will worsen overnight.

Octavia: Well, I’ll still have to catch up to Priddy first…who is probably heading to your library next after escaping from your GOOP trap, if their previous post is any indication…but I’m thinking of something along the lines of “rubber cement and traditional whoopee cushions” for when the time comes…

Octavia: ...Okay, so Priddy just brought over some documents that...uh, give credence to what I’ve said thus far.  Which, ah...well, why wouldn’t such documents exist?  It’s not as though the conversation we had with Carapace last week wasn’t leading up to this, or the possibility of Carapace throwing a Maxi Mecha-sized pillow my way in the near future was a legitimate concern.

Yep; it’s all right here.  Schematics and blueprints that prove that everything I’ve said thus far is possible.  Even has some data on our various genetic codes, as well as Brainy’s typing quirks to show that she wrote it, and thus was actually going to talk to me about this.  Has talked, I mean, because...oh, who am I kidding?  This was supposed to just be a joke why is there so much detailed paperwork I only started posting a few hours ago BRAINY ARE YOU COLLABORATING WITH PRIDDY TO OUT-PRANK ME BECAUSE I’M SORRY AND I’LL TAKE IT ALL BACK I DON’T WANT TO RAISE A HUNDRED MORE INFANTS SO SOON!!

How is babby formed? How brain get pragnent?

Octavia: Well, I suppose we’ve left you all on a cliffhanger for almost a week now…it took a bit of time for me to come to terms with the situation, but I suppose you’re all better off knowing about it.  So, to settle this now, ‘Brain’ is not ‘pragnent’…and neither is Carapace, despite having odd cravings…

…It’s me.  I am currently carrying a four-way lovechild.

Now, before anyone gets the wrong idea, everyone here agreed to this situation.  Brainy, Carapace, Vinyl, and myself are all going to be one huge free love herd, taking after sister-in-law Carrot Top.  Now, I’m carrying it because Carapace trusts me, and also because Vinyl had to deal with pregnancy last time.  Actually, she’s the one that had her way with me in bed…well, not the only one, I guess; last Thursday was so thrilling!  But Vinyl provided the fertility that sterile Carapace and no-body Brainy couldn’t, is what I mean to say.  And to make sure that our child is a symbol of all of our love combined, Brainy stuck me in a Science Tube (TM) and spliced in the DNA of herself and Carapace.  She also did other sciency stuff, most importantly cutting down time spent pregnant by 90%!

Yep; I’m already bloated and have a massive belly.  I’ve eaten ten times my own body weight daily to make up for the increased metabolism required, but it’ll be worth it to give Pitch, Reverb, and Tempo new sisters-in-law ASAP.  And when I say sisters, I’m talking a TON of fillies; I guess the Changeling part of the fusion is just prone to making lots and lots of children!  Why, by the time all of them finish gestating (in a week or two at this rate), I might just need hay constantly funneled into my mouth to avoid dying!  But I don’t regret it…well, I might scream bloody murder during the birthing process, but before and after that, I’m not regretting it, and won’t regret it!

So, I do hope that’s a fitting explanation for you, Anon!  Thank you for being here during this monumental turning point in our lives.  And while I may be bedridden until our swarm of new family members are born, unable to reply to further inquiry until I can once again move out of bed, it will feel so wonderful to return to you all, and introduce you to each and every one of our April foals!
