honestly, they’re not too sure about this group of misfits. maybe because they like to run alone. they’re far too much of a string-puller to work well in groups, and yet they’ve gathered as a clan of sorts to feed off of prey. the name isn’t very translatable in english. english isn’t too easy on the other worldly creature either but they manage. apparently some children stutter in this world and the alien trying to manage around the fact that they aren’t human is something that works just as similar. BILL isn't too hard to say. they can manage that.
there's a human phrase of 'don't play with your food' but they don’t understand that phrase yet. playing is the best part. adults are just so predictable and it’s absolutely delicious. they get so bored. so t i r e d of their daily routine that it just makes it so easy for them to hunt. but now they have to fix one of their others’ errors. it’s nothing they don’t expect from the smaller demon. when they’re hungry. they get hungry too. they get VERY HUNGRY but it’s still about the hunt. they want to make the most out of their meal and don’t just want something quick. they like satisfaction in a meal. the smaller demon honestly always made the taller demon delighted. it was a pleasure to be around the tiny biting thing. they’d met up long before any of the others had a even remotely come into existence. they would spin their tricks together.

it’d work like a charm every time. the adult would feel obligated. the silly human. kids could be the true terror if you weren’t paying too much attention. they could lure you to a ‘ broken child ‘ crying about a scraped knee. they could easily let the crying distract as they finish the job and share their kill together.
the two worked magnificently together. rumors had it that the humans thought they worked so well in tandem that they were BROTHERS. related. it was laughable, but the two used it to their advantage. it worked and why would you fix something that worked? it was even better when the adult realized something was gravely wrong. but they couldn't move. they couldn't. even if they wanted to. BILL had them stuck in place. playing with those same drawstrings. they didn't really care about their lives anyhow right? oh, being an adult was so boring. so mundane. honestly, the alien believed they were doing the right thing by killing them anyhow. they'd get a meal and the human would be out of their disappointing and god awful life.
did anyone truly lose here in this situation?
