“Hey, sexy.  You.  The beautiful woman reading these words.  Yeah.  You know what?  I’ve seen you in my time travels.  You’re gorgeous.  Strong, brave, smart… everything I could ever want.  I just wanna take you back into my timeline and show you everything…. everything I’ve ever seen.

“But before I do that, you’ve gotta do one thing.  Can you do one thing for me, princess?  Mmm, I’m sure you can.  Just one little thing.  Just take a picture of-

“What?  Elsword, no, I’m not asking for nudes!  Go away!

“Brat.  No, my sweet.  I just want a little bitty picture of your sweet, sweet computer specifications.  Just open it up and take a picture of the motherboard, and then give it to me, can you do that?

“Good.  I’ll be waiting, dear reader~”

You breathe in the familiar scent of Add, ignoring the sounds of mews that echoes around you. There was a point in time that Add continuously portaled too much cats into your home until you set a regulated amount of cats that the both of you can keep.

You sigh softly, snuggling into Esper’s hold more. “Add…when will you sen the cats back?” You boop his nose gently. “We don’t have enough food to feed them all!”

“When I pet them one by one.” He grumbles out, causing you to giggle. 

“Such a child!” You giggle with mirth and Add pouts at you and you fail to notice a portal forming above you. 

You squeak loudly as a mewling kitten land onto your face. “Add!” You splutter out after the kitten tumbles off. “What did I tell you?”

“You made fun of me, so I’ll portal more cats!” He continues to portal more and more kittens onto you until you wave your hands in defeat.

Add snuggles closer to you in satisfaction. “I win.”

You sigh in response and allow him to cuddle you till you fell asleep.

Originally, Add was supposed to throw away the inferior Apocalypse prototype. It came out much smaller than he intended it to be, and too tame for battle anyway. It acted too much like a real cat. He could’ve just gotten a normal cat. He was about to toss it out, but you objected at the last minute.

“Don’t be so mean! He’s nice and cute!” You cried. You realized your words might not get through to him but to your surprise he handed it to you anyway. The little Apocalypse was just as big as you were, with cat ears unlike its descendant. You took it in your arms, and it gave an artificial purr.

“I figured you were going to say something,” The scientist sighed, studying you two getting along quickly. He’s not sure how a machine can feel, but the more you gave it back rubs, the louder the purrs got. You grinned widely at the gift. “I love it!”

It couldn’t hurt to let you have it. He thought it was entertaining anyway, watching you two play just like with a real cat. You noticed he was slowing down after a bit, and his lights dulled. Add looked at your frowning face, and at the mini Apocalypse standing still.

“He’s just a prototype, I didn’t make it use power efficiently,” he explained, but you still weren’t happy. You already miss your companion. After a while of silence, he picked up the cube and walked towards his work table. “I’ll fix it up for you, so you don’t have to be so grumpy..!”

Satisfied with the answer, your smiled returned. You couldn’t wait to see the miniature cube again.
