18 Jul 2017. See any of your favourites? These are all the books I’ve ever received from @TheYAChronicles so far and I’ve read… nine of 24. Not as hideous as I thought but I’ve still got a lot of reading to do before I stop drowning in this sea of books. Hopefully the mermaid socks from last month’s #TheYAChronicles box will help keep me afloat! You can get a discount on your subscription to the YA Chronicles with the code CAA10 at the checkout! TAGS: #unreadbooks, #anticipatedreads, #tbr, #seaofbooks, #readerproblemsbooktag. Thanks, @divabooknerd, @leeyanndruhreads and @lanadistef! 1. How do you decide what to read next? Gut instinct and lots of crying. 2. If you’re halfway through a book and not loving it, do you quit or commit? It depends on whether I feel like the book is putting me in a slump. If it’s dragging me down too much, I’ll quit. If it’s just dull but I’m capable of continuing then I’ll commit. 3. It’s near the end of the year and you’re behind on your Goodreads challenge – do you try to catch up? I did last year! This year I set my challenge really low to avoid that issue. 4. How do you cope when the covers of a series you love do not match? I cry and set things on fire. 5. Everyone loves a book you dislike – who do you bond with over shared feelings? I usually rant about it to my mum haha. I’m not even sure if she takes it all in but she’s happy for me to tell her why it’s not working. 6. A sequel of a book you loved comes out but you’ve forgotten the prior novel – what do you do? I either reread or put it off for ages, forget the entire series and then go back years later. I’m not kidding. This has happened. 7. How do you politely tell people you don’t want to lend out a book? I usually suggest that they borrow it from the library when they get a chance. 8. Of the new releases you’re dying to read, how many do you actually buy? Very few! I’m trying to stick to a book-buying ban. 9. After buying these books, how long before you actually read them? Days. Months. Years. It’s a serious problem.
