“Forerunner Magazine takes an interest in people and places behind video games. It's made by five video game fans from South East London. For issue #1 we travelled along the west coast of North America, interviewing people in and around the medium with the intent of telling their personal stories and experiences. Most of the content is provided in articles and supported with photography and illustration, covering everything from founding figures and academics, to journalists, musicians, museums and new frontiers. It's storytelling that looks at video games in their variety of manifestations and reaching influences, rather than just looking at the games themselves.”
