When You Don't Pay Attention
So I learned a huge lesson today. I have to read carefully and not get ahead of myself. You see, I am applying to study abroad in Taiwan for Fall Quarter/Semester. I kept avoiding the process of starting the application but willed myself to do it today after I finished all my ARE homework. Oh boy, I was freaking out at first because it's due by March 1, 2012. And I thought that I had to write this essay and get a whole bunch of recommendations from people I barely knew. I was literally hyperventilating for a good hour. Why am I so stupid? After calming down and looking over the checklist, I realized that I actually don't need to write a essay nor do I have to get recommendations. All I needed to do was getting my transcripts and also talk to my advisor and plan my courses. -__-
What I learned today? Read your goddamn applications thoroughly and carefully. Don't be a lame-o and start freaking out for no good reason.
Btw, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR. Went to the temple with mommy and daddy on monday. Traffic was terrible going down there but it's the year of the DRAGON! Please be a good year.
Work has been crazy. I'm trying to make more money now so that I can have some extra cash if I can go study abroad in Taiwan.
