i really like rick's sibling so far (and i didn't realize how much of a breath of fresh air it would be for a guardian character to be actually okay/good/competent/kind)

also this is kind of the first time a story has made me feel old (not in a bad way)

but this is going to be rambly so under a cut it goes

so any way loftlatched is making me feel old (ish) mainly i just feel noticable older than the main cast (and feel closer in age the rick's sibling)

like with autopraxis the main cast is like a couple year younger than me at most, if we met we would be peers

and when i first "read" homestuck i was right around the main kids ages so i though nothing of it then

but even in my recent (half completed) re-read of homestuck the 13 year olds don't really feel 13 most of the time

like in loft latched from the writing to the art rick feel like a scrawny little 13 years old

if i ended up in a room with him i would be the adult in that situation

idk it just not something I've really experience in a story before

like you can fit more stuff in one captchalogue cards by combining it into one idea of sort like wallet holds card so instead of using 3 captchalogue cards for 3 items you use 1 via the wallet
