picked up a gay murder mystery at the used bookstore today. It has taken me nearly two hours to read thirty pages because I've had to put the book just about every page to laugh and immediately send the quote to @stevie-winters. A few sparkling examples below.

I know you prefer physical books, but I thought maybe there’s some that are difficult to obtain. This is where I get all my e-books, it was originally meant for textbooks that are just too expensive for college kids I believe, but turned into an archive for pretty much everything else. For the book questions:

17) Did any books surprise you with how good they were?

I had to read The Fortunate Mistress (Roxana) by Daniel Defoe for a class this semester and I'll admit I was surprised how much it read kind of like a trashy "tell all" documentary or memoir or something.

And in the surprise of the century to me (historically I have struggled to find any romance I vibe with, let alone a het one), a random romance (Moon Called) I found on libby proceeded to eat my brain and I read all 13 books in a month. I'll admit I didn't read it for the romance itself, but more because I find some of the characterizations and implications of the worldbuilding extremely fascinating for various reasons (compelling, insane, like watching a train wreck)
