I have never read anything by Terry Pratchett alone (Good Omens is the only one, and that was a co-write, I believe?) but The Colour of Magic arrived this morning, I am only 36 pages in, and, well. May I just say, from the bottom of my heart, AHHHHH.
Sometimes I forget that Dexter and Darling are twins, must be the hair color.
I believe I may assert that they were really in possession of deep and growing happines.

Why did no one tell me wuthering heights is a comedy
The thing about me is i hate the concept of a short story collection book. When i pick up a book i want to sink into a single story for hours, really get to know the characters, watch them grow, and not be switching from plot to plot every 20 minutes
At the same time i absolutely love short stories, the ability to punch you in your gut and make you question everything in just 20-40 pages??? Ive read Green Patches by Isaac Asimov yesterday and im still thinking about it, ive read The Ugly Little Boy by Isaac Asimov last week and im still thinking about it, ive read Kaleidoscope by Ray Bradbury over a year ago and im still thinking about it. Some of the best stories ive read were only 20 pages
But i cannot for the life of me read them in a collection
