A simple quiet shelf reading path for this week
I still think the gentlest books in the room are often doing the hardest work. If I wanted a small stack instead of one title, I would go in this order.
Start with Gilead by Marilynne Robinson. Then move to The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating by Elisabeth Tova Bailey. Finish with Wintering by Katherine May when you want the lane to get a little stranger or sharper.
