I'm really happy because you're joining the booktube community. :D Congratulations in your first video and I wish that you keep on making more videos. :D
Thank you!!! I will be making lots of videos in the future, hopefully :)
I'm so excited for your BookTube! Good luck with it and I hope you get everything you want out of it!! :-)
Thank you!!! Everyone is so supportive, I’m amazed!
Hi! I was wondering if you could rec me some books? Goodreads doesn't really match up to an actual passionate version so. I'm mostly into YA right now but any genre is fine. Something light, please? I can't really handle heavy books right now since TFiOS. If you could, preferably a book set in England? Thank you so much! I love you blog so much x
I can definitely do that! I’m guessing by light you mean light on the feels?
Here are some set in England:
Meant To Be by Lauren Morrill
The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith
Here are some more good ones set other places:
Anna and the French Kiss and Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
The Selection by Kiera Cass
I've got some historical fiction recommendations anon is looking for. The Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray, Flappers series by Jillian Larkin and The Diviners by Libba Bray.
Thanks Fatima! :)))
Here you go anon!
First I wanted to say that I love your blog! Then, I wanted to know if you had a kind of list of books to advise me cause I'm searching for some, and I've already read most of my books (I have a few left but not a lot) It would be so nice from you :3
Thank you so much!
Of course I can give you a list of books! Assuming you know about the big ones already (Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Divergent, etc.), here are some of my favorites:
The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
The Selection by Kiera Cass
The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux
Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
Legend by Marie Lu
Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo
If I Stay by Gayle Forman
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
Life of Pi by Yann Martel
The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
it's nice to see someone who has the same passion for reading as me! I've been thinking about getting a kindle but I love the feel and smell and weight ect. of an actual book, do you recommend a kindle?
Passionate readers are awesome :)))
I love physical books too (for the reasons you said) but I also have a Kindle. I take it with me when I’m traveling so that my physical books don’t get damaged or take up too much room in my suitcase. I buy physical books if I know I’ll love the book and I get e-books for books I’m interested in but unsure of (since they are cheaper). Kindles are also great for getting the e-book novellas that some series have.
If you do decide to get a Kindle, I would recommend the Kindle Paperwhite!
can you suggest a good sci-fi love story for me? I'm spent. -_-
Sure! I read mostly YA so the amount of love/physical romance is gonna vary.
My favorite is The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. It’s AMAZING.
Here are some others (some of these are under the sub-genre of Dystopia):
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
Legend by Marie Lu
The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
Across the Universe by Beth Revis
These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner
Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
