Oh bisexuality, the B in LGBTQ2+. So many misconceptions, so often misunderstood, so often questioned and mistrusted. Before I came out, I saw how bisexuality was viewed by the general public, I heard how other people talked (in the community and not), and I was afraid. I was afraid of being seen as a stereotype, as just another girl looking for attention. I was afraid that being in love with a man would invalidate my story. I was afraid of being rejected by my own community. . I decided to speak anyway. And over the years, I’ve come to realize that I’M the only one who gets to decide and define my sexuality. I’M the only one who decides whether or not I’m “bi enough”. And I want to do my part to spread that message to others. A message that I needed to hear back then. 💗💜💙 . This journey to acceptance is the reason I’ve decided to team up with TD again this year for Pride. Through The Ready Commitment, TD is supporting local and national organizations that help LGBTQ2+ youth feel like they can be themselves and live authentically, and that’s all I want. I want YOU to know that I see you, I hear you, and I know that you are valid in your identity. 🌈 . Thank you @TD_Canada for continuing to support this community, through individual creators like me, and through larger organizations like Covenant House. It’s important. #ReadyCommitment #ForeverProud #sponsored https://www.instagram.com/p/B0OeiqjpO0D/?igshid=1w2oss4023nqw
