Oh Pink How You Inspire Me! 💕 • • • Today I attended @museumatfit ‘s amazing exhibition called PINK. This was the coolest exhibit focused on the historical feminization of the color pink, as well as it’s journey in our culture. • • • • The transformational meaning associated with the tones alone was just mind blowing when I really analyzed it from a cultural perspective. Even the conversation on how different tones of pink are now transitioning gender stereotypes. • • • • I had no idea that over the last 300 years Pink has take such a journey of within our culture. The way that advertising alone has positioned the colors with the spectrum, as well as the names of the tones is so interesting to me. ( I know, I know more fashion kinky stuff, but it’s my thing. ) • • • • I am totally obsessed with understanding more than the trend when it comes to style.
