The Truth

These are blue raspberries. Yes, they are real. Their scientific name is the Rubus Leucodermis, or the "whitebark raspberry" (so called because of their white flower buds).

The whitebark raspberry, AKA blue raspberry, is the fruit responsible for the blue raspberry flavoring in many beloved slurpees and candies. They provide blue raspberry flavor just as real cherries provide cherry flavor (needless to say, chemicals and dyes are used depending on the food).

This is a photoshopped image. Because of the artificial blue dyes added to their flavor, blue raspberries are believed to be a neon-blue crazyberry, and therefore condemned to fiction. We know the truth now, that they are in fact not actually bright blue, as the common Trashtron5000 may think. But that doesn't mean they are not real.
