thrift store haul!!!

1. vintage real(? reddit says prob not) fur coat with likely satin lining! the fur is not in super great shape, and the lining was roughed up in places too, but still a very cozy coat! it had a brand tag & a union tag, i'll put those under the cut.

2. uranium glass ice cream dish & wine glass, fluorescing under a blacklight!

3. same as 2 but they're not under a blacklight.

4. "Snuggs" the sailor dog from The Heritage Collection by Ganz Bros. he lives up to the name, he's a very good cuddler!

5. brand tag of the coat.

6. union tag of the coat

further research deduced that the brand Fashionbilt introduced their Casuals line in the late 60's & ceased production in the early 80's, which narrows down when the coat would've been made. any further information or care instructions are deeply appreciated!!!

Ren Faire Part 2

Back from the fair and boy do we have things to talk about!

We dressed up for it, as you should do when you go to a faire. We wore a ruffled shirt and brought four tails (those include a coyote, a red wolf, a black and white fox tail and one that looks like a wolfs tail but is actually another fox tail). We also have this head piece. It's like a garland but instead of flowers it's made of fur, feathers, and antlers.

Honestly, we think its pretty neat if we do say so ourselves.

So, at the faire we got two more things to add to the collection of stuff that we have for the look.

First, we got a raccoon pelt. Well, more like a hide of raccoon. We were going to get one of those hats with the big tail on the back, but we already had something like that.

We have been looking at getting a pelt for a while now, and we finally did it. And plus, it's a racoon, something we're known for being.

I am a demon, but I do also identify with Raccooninnit. It's just who we are, nuff said.
