Y'know, I think Fake Peppino is a good insight into AI as a whole.
Firstly: They're both imitating something they're not. Poorly. Fake Peppino is fixated on replacing the real one, specifically because it's more of an asset to be used than a Peppino. AI is replacing us because it's 'easier to work with' than us.
Second: Fake's second phase is just as insightful. Take a look at the background.
The background tries even harder to be Peppino related: Some of the text becomes nonsense, and the rest becomes so focused on Peppino that it's too Peppino. Fake Peppino is so basic, because...
