hey! I know it has become a broken record already, and we all want it to either end sooner or be put to rest forever, but maybe it’s good from time to time to just keep an eye on things they get away with? idk.

anyway, here’s the photoshop:

So they

1) botch up his nose, well, this one’s obvious, blur the characteristic nasal wings, round or widen the tip

2) touch up on his left eye to make it more droopy, and overdo it, the eye is disfigured so are the colors surrounding it (maybe I’m seeing things with the last one)

3) either touch up or make him tuck in his lips - lips do thin out in a wider smile but they’re not completely gone, look at these full lips on the right

It has always been them just following the list of “the most prominent Louis features” and putting it on the boy in the most disingenuous ways not caring that it looks unnatural.

Also couldn’t anybody tell them they’re almost missing a nostril, jfc…

And of course the bone structure people love to use as an argument (posted on another blog, but I think it should also be there for the completion)

No one except for us bats an eye on these things even if presented with facts, because “well, children grow up and change of course he looks different”, no, noses and lips don’t change their shape within a year when you’re a child and you don’t typically share entire skull pattern with your step grandfather.

Anyway, that’s it, the boy is a Clark, proven by physical evidence for 57th time, I’m done thinking about it for the rest of my life.

Hi! Thanks for sharing. To be honest, I don't even think they bother photoshopping the pictures anymore. For me, the bone structure, nose, chin, and eyebrows are all very Brett’s... it looks nothing like Louis. But of course, they make him smile like Louis and be cute, and that's all they need. But features that are just not Tomlinson will always stand out.

Hii, I was reading your end it tags and please correct if I'm wrong, but do you believe that the kid thinks he's louis son? Because since AOTV I thought that his parents might have told him like you are going to X place, act like X (kind like a job - this is so horrible, I hate talking about this).

Of course that when he grows up and find out all this mess, it's going to be hard for him but I always under the impression that he knew that Louis is not his dad, so when all of this shit ends (🤞) it wont have such a negative impact on him.

Oh, I agree with you. This is one of those things that’s really hard for us, looking in from the outside with so little information, to truly understand. But I don’t think everything has to be complicated, especially in terms of how things are handled directly with Freddie, he’s just a kid with limited exposure to what people say about him.

I think he has a great sense of who his parents and family are, like any child would. When he was younger, you could tell from videos the family posted that he often referred to Brett as dad and it seemed he didn’t view Briana in a mother role either.

It’s tough he’s had so much public attention, and I'm sure it will be harder as he grows up and understands more, for now, I'd guess that the Tomlinson family in his life are more like a distant, rich side of the family he sees here and there—Louis included. Hopefully, now that Freddie is getting older, he’ll receive both emotional and financial support from Louis to help things not be too bad for him in the coming years.

Hi Allie!! You’re so right about the biggest argument for F being Louis’ son is that he “looks like him.” That is a weak reason for belief in his paternity. My kids all look like my husband who is dark-haired and Italian, and nothing like me (blonde hair and blue-eyed). Whenever we hang out with my sister’s family - her kids are all blonde hair with blue eyes and my sister has dark hair and dark eyes like my husband - everyone thinks her kids are mine and my kids are her’s. We laugh about it because it’s just always been that way. Genetics are funny things and the look of the kid does not prove who their parents are. Also, have you noticed that Freddy rarely smiles with teeth in pictures? That’s because once he does he stops looking like Louis and screams Brett. The tight-lipped smirk is the only thing that keeps him looking like him and not like Brett at this point!

Re: Freddie looking like Louis, my dad was adopted and he says people would often tell him how much he looked like his dad (who he was not biologically related to). It’s amazing what the power of suggestion can do!

What I’m still scratching my head about is the fact that neither Louis nor Briana are blonde? Right? If I’m not mistaken Briana seems to have brown roots in many photos which indicates her blonde hair is not natural, and Louis has always had the same brown hair? Then how is the kid blonde, and how is the kid being blonde a proof for anything? I mean he’s like proper light blonde, not a touch of dark there.. I might also genuinely just be stupid and uneducated about genetics, help.

Hahaha no but you have a point there, I agree. I think Briana and Tammi are a natural blonde (but more like a dark blonde, they obviously also bleach their hair) and Louis was blondish when he was a baby. And that's why the connection, I guess. But honestly it made so much more sense when he was a baby... because you're so right, he's seven now and his hair is super light blonde, that's from Brett's side of the family. I mean, the fucking eyebrows! As he's getting older it's so obvious he looks nothing like Louis.

Hi I’m new to bbg an I was wondering if in at any point people considered Louis to have been a donor to a fertility clinic (under oc all the legal protections a celebrity has). I wall say this o even tho father and motherhood is very personal to each. The blatant closeting move here shadows most of the positives. Im not that naive. But I also wanted to know if (why) the fandom hates Freddie or how do we treat the child, cuz he is just 5 and this is a very very well thought out thing.

Hello anon! Okay, a lot to unpack here. I'm guessing you came from twitter? Out of all the theories and discussions I've ever seen about babygate between twarries, this is the one it sound the most absurd to me.

I think that sometime people try to find reasonable explanations for something that is hard to understand or accept, and it's fine we all do that, but they don't really realize how contradictory it sounds as long as it's easier to accept. So first, WHY. How in the world people forcing him to be a sperm donor is more reasonable or likely than him simply not being his kid??? This make it sound like babygate is based on nothing. Like I always say, context matters so much and one of the reasons why babygate is so obviously a stunt and Freddie is not his kid at all is because Louis himself have been trying to tell us that. Why would he do that if Freddie was in fact his kid? Why has he been teasing "end it" like the rest of us? Everything about Louis and the kid points to the fact Louis has absolutely nothing to do with him.

Second, if Freddie was biologically his, they wouldn't need to photoshop Louis' face on all the pictures. He would simply look like Louis and not Brett, which is obviously his actual father. And finally, if Louis was biologically his father, they could have easily done a DNA test and he would have custody. Plus, let's just use some critical thinking here guys, you don't actually go ahead and have a fake baby, who do you guys even think Louis is. How would he donate the sperm and then act like it wasn't his, or let other people raise the kid. Seriously.

And lastly I just wanted to address the fact you're saying the fandom hates Freddie? I can't speak for other people and I'm aware there is some shitty people out there but thinking Freddie is not Louis' kid doesn't mean we hate the kid at all and I would never support this kind of behaviour. In fact I've never seen anyone treating him disrespectfully on tumblr, to be honest. Freddie is a lovely kid and he and Louis are the victims on this horrible situation. I wish he didn't have this disgusting family of his and I personally will always try to preserve him and his image as much as possible, differently than a lot of people thinking this is his child and literally making fan accounts for a 5 y/o in a very creepy way. I think is time to stop to blame larries for disgusting things other people do.

That’s how a surrogacy works, yes. The mother’s egg is fertilized by the father's sperm using in vitro fertilization and then the embryo is transferred to the surrogate. A surrogate can be used when the mother can’t (or don’t want to) carry the pregnancy. With Tammi, she apparently already had a few complications when Austin was born, and by the time Freddie was born she was almost 50 which would make her carrying the pregnancy very high risk. As time went on and Freddie started to look more and more like Brett (and Tammi being pregnant sounded extremely unlikely) this started to be a widely accepted theory. Which was basically confirmed when Briana posted the ultrasound from a fertility clinic last year and that raised a lot of red flags because it was apparently heavily edited and a lot of informations were missing or incorrect if that was supposed to be Briana’s pregnancy. Not to mention how “regular” ultrasounds from oopsie babies do not happen in fertility clinics. So everything points to the fact this was actually the surrogate’s ultrasound and that’s why it was in a fertility clinic in the first place.
