did fail one class and probably didn't do as well in others but oh my god it's over i'm ecstatic i hope it doesn't haunt me forever

but also I can start working through all the shitty feelings and depression of the past 4 months and move on with life so yaaaaayyyyyy

tw ableism re: mental disorders

writing about this is the worst thing ever. everything is "oh yes they found the gene for autism that way we can address it earlier with ~therapies~" and i hate having to write this using "we" -- as in society -- needs this genetic info so we can "fix" it

and i feel shitty about writing it that way. because heyyyy, what about letting neuroatypical people make their own medical decisions???!!!!!

but holy crap the *literature* is so bad about it and justifies every single experiment on autism and schizophrenia with this "curing" rhetoric and if i try to criticize it my dumb professor will say "that's not neuroscience that's sociology, what did I tell you about sociology?" and

i wanna throw up i'm so against every word I've written can we please stop making decisions about neurological "disorders" for people please. please

have to use wordpress, which actually would be fine if it wasn't a

group wordpress, so you can't set it up in any kind of logical way, can't add any plugins, can't actually tweak it to fit your specific needs/formatting
