People getting angry that sk8 "queerbaited " us. No honey, your just delusional. I told ya so. I saw the signs, the woman literally wrote free. You guys get your hopes up for the ship to be explicitly canon. I love them too, but the premise of the show is not about their romance or if they will kiss. They are queer coded though. People legit watch this show just to see if Reki and Langa would kiss or confess, as if that was the main plot point and it wasn't about skater dudes having fun with some angst. Like was shipping all you care about?? Cause you will be disappointed a lot in animes then. It was marketed as a comedy sports anime, and thats exactly what we got. Anything else is just a bonus. Yuri was just a rare occurrence in sports anime. Don't expect it to happen like that with each one. They literally had to push and still ended up censoring their relationship.
