What is your position on economic disparity within Cancun?
After a press conference held on October 22nd Juarez was quoted saying, “ When I was a child I always saw the economic disparity between the areas that I grew up in and the hotel zone. Most if not all of our government appropriations go towards the betterment of the hotel zone and leaves very little for the citizens, which is the majority, in the central district. I propose that since our economy is based off tourism that we improve the appearance and infrastructure of the central zone in order to promote tourist visitation to all parts of our great city. This will support local businesses that will then improve the living conditions of Cancunenses.
