Ingredients: 300g ground beef. 1 small onion, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional. 1 package dumpling wrappers about 40 wrappers. 1/2 cup plain yogurt. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1/2 cup water. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley. 1/4 cup sumac optional. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Put the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using in a bowl. Combine well. Put about 1 teaspoon of the beef mixture in the middle of a dumpling wrapper. To seal the edges, fold the wrapper in half and press them together with your fingers. Do it again with the rest of the filling and wrappers. Bring water to a boil in a big pot. After you add the manti dumplings, cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they get soft. Remove the water and set it aside. Put butter and olive oil in a different pan and heat them over medium-low heat. Put in the cooked manti dumplings and cook for a few minutes until they turn golden brown. Add salt to taste to a small bowl and mix plain yogurt in it. Add some yogurt sauce to the sauted manti dumplings and top them with chopped fresh parsley and sumac, if you want.
