I shouldnt be drawing much...

Even if I got the time now I should not draw, but I couldn't resist... I read again the last few chapters of Ravame's Bane and I'm completely pinning after it...

That last scene has left me with a permanent voice in my head narrating it again and again and again... 😂

Ps.: I shouldn't draw that much because it seems I overdid myself at that job and got my hands nerves a little bit irritated... so I'm really anxious about not doing anything as I rest and heal.

Ophelia and Oberon Ryder are basically going to be my answer to “what if there were a set of space-faring Weasley twins.” CC willing, they’ll both be flaming redheads, freckles everywhere, sarcastic as hell, and cheerful competitive with each other over everything. “Phi” is a biotic who sketches and cooks (badly) in her spare time, and “Puck” is an infiltrator with a borderline unhealthy obsession with sniper rifles and the books he borrows from Lexi.

OOOOOOH MMMMYYYYYYY GOOOOOOODDDDD!!!! @reality-warp - I love them already! They sound absoloutely fucking amazing! (Sorry for the language, but the Australian in me swears a lot when I’m excited!). They sound so amazing - I can’t wait to see them in game or in fanfiction, or anywhere else you make them!

“I can’t remember asking for your opinion,” I replied sharply, and then added tiredly, “Whoever the hell you are.”

There was a ghostly chuckle and the sound of rustling in the grass next to me, “Well, why don’t you just open your eyes and find out?”

I sighed. I didn’t really care about who I was talking to really. I knew I was just dreaming, and in theory I could just wake myself up in an instant, if I wanted to. But either way, that would still require opening my eyes. So, reluctantly I allowed my eyelids to slowly open...

And I found myself staring directly into my own face.

My figment - or whatever she really was - had the exact same oval face, with the exact same full mouth, narrow chin, small nose, and wide almond shaped eyes as me. Her hair was admittedly longer and better kept, tumbling all the way down to her waist, but it was exactly the same shade of chestnut brown as mine. If I had been standing, I would have been willing to bet my life that the two of us were within a centimeter’s difference in height.

It was like staring into a mirror, only my reflection had come to life in front of me. The only part of her appearance that was in any way different from mine were her eyes. Where I knew mine were bright jade green, hers were an almost luminous shade of amber.

I stared at her with my jaw hanging slack, and my other self just smiled fondly from where she was knelt down next to me. We even had the same tiny dimple in our left cheek when we smiled.

“There we go, that’s much better.”

And then the world fell out from underneath me again.

Eleanor Lucy Dace (Or how I imagine her)

In the last three months I've been re-reading the entire Ravame's Bane Trilogy, and today I decided to draw Eleanor or how I've always visualized her. Mind you, I am NOT a profesional, and am aware of how messy it is, but I decided to share it nonetheless.

I've first discovered Ravame's Bane when I was 15, and since then, it has become this beautiful and safe place I always return to when in need of comfort. The work of art that is the trilogy deserves more recognition, it is hands down the best, most creative and breathtaking fanfic I've ever read. (Honestly, it could be a book of its own ngl)

I am excited for the third and final book more than ever, but also fully understand and support Rella for not rushing it, because no matter how long the wait, I know it will be worth it <3
