GOOD MORNING TO ALL!!! #RealizeThis (at Lumberton Independent Living Campus)
Be Yourself. Thought 2.
As a woman I often find myself looking in the mirror. I stare at the imperfections. The small zits that no one really notices, the tiny hairs that no one cares about. I pick apart my flaws. Then there are days I stare at myself in the mirror and ignore the flaws and only see the perfections. The way my eyes show yellow in certain light, the gentle loving of my freckles, the way my nose isn't quite perfect in a beautiful unique way. That even though my lips are thin, they're perfect for my face. How little those days appear is heart breaking. I don't want to feel confident in a way that makes me egotistical, I want to give off confidence in a way that makes others feel confident in themselves.
Lately I've been hearing guys that I know wanting to workout just so that they can get a girlfriend. Not so they can get laid, but for the simple fact that they just want to find love. Find someone to share their life with, someone to share their problems with. Someone that they can care about and will care about them back. All I wish is for them to realize that it's not the body a woman wants. It's the right amount of confidence, where it's not over confidence but a mild amount. A man who is kind, and thoughtful. Who will take a moment and think of her. A man who will be patient with her and love her no matter what sort of day she is having. Wanting to work out so that a woman notices you isn't going to get you the sort of woman you want. Mind you there are women out there who also work out that are kind and caring. It's the simple fact of going about working out so you can look good and get a girl that way which is the wrong way. Now I'm not saying don't work out. Working out is so good for you, for more than just the obvious reasons. It gives you that confidence you need. It relieves stress. Makes you feel good mentally and physically. If you're working out for your health, not for vanity reasons, then go right for it.
I want men to know, be yourself. Be that part of yourself you're afraid to show. The one who would be willing to listen to her day. Not to get anything, but her confidence and trust in you. Let her cry on your shoulder, hold her and rub her back. Gently hush her and tell her everything will be okay. Be her rock and she'll be your rock as well.
#Realizethis @Regrann from @sweetzthoughts - People lose interest easily but some aren't able to tell you because they're either scared of your reaction, don't want to hurt your #feelings or are just chicken and aren't able to tell you. I'm not refering to people that work long hours and are simply too tired. I'm talking about the obvious ones that avoid your calls, or don't even bother making the #effort. Start questioning when your hour calls become 2 minute calls or no calls at all. #MSosa #SweetzThoughts #Goodbye d

There's a difference between people who ask you if you're okay and people who know you're not okay.
It's not about finding the baddest bitch out there but finding someone that will be there for you through both the good and bad times.
