Personally I hate how many people want to only focus on two aspects of history when it comes to hetalia, war and politics. I'm sorry I'm too much of an empath to know when something is bad and has or even still is affecting people, and honestly gives me a bad taste in my mouth when people want to include that stuff in-character with stuff. Can't we just discuss those aspects out of the characters and figure out headcannons for that? That way people are still encouraged to learn and know details beyond what's taught in schools? Why do I have to be made to feel like an idiot or a bad person for not wanting to include that history in character?
