Ahhhhh your tags!!! Ok it was actually the stitching of the glove BUT I like your theory of it being a bite mark more!

I knew it! I looked closer after writing that last tag and saw that the stitching goes all the way down to his index finger. It seems like my mind is always set on making Port suffer. 🙈 You did such a wonderful job in depicting Port's emotions, Lunie. The second to last panel especially is so heartbreaking! Have you thought about what their reunion would have been like?

Hey, so Lunie was kind enough to write me some Pimba recs yesterday, and today I got to listen to them. I went in not knowing what to expect. And now I’m a changed person. Thank you, Pimba. Thank you, Lunie. 

Here are my impressions: 

1.  Quim Barreiros - Bacalhau à portuguesa

I looooooove the melody of this song. I could listen to it for hours on end! In this particular performance, I was so surprised to see students dancing on stage, and the crowd pairing themselves in 2s and dancing together. What a great atmosphere! Definitely my favourite so far!

2. Emanuel - Pimba Pimba (Vídeo Oficial) (1995)

I’m not gonna lie, Pimba Pimba has the cutest music video out of all 4. The melody kinda reminds of a super rhythmic polka. I love how the singer pops in and out of the music video, with fireworks, cars, and dancing couples in the background. There’s no such thing as green screen overuse in my book, no sir!

The girls have such pretty eyes

And the boys are so handsome - and by that I mean the boy on the right 

I squealed my lungs out at this scene! 

There’s no double entendre here that’s for sure

3. José Malhoa - Baile de Verão (Official Video)

First things first - there’s no way that this absolute masterpiece wasn’t used for memes. No way, I tell you, no way! I laughed my head off whenever the stalker guy received screen time.

At first, the lyrics sounded so adorable:

But then…the lyrics took a turn…for worse

I’ll never forget this M/V for as long as I live. 

4. José Malhoa - "Morena Kuduro" (Official Video)

I have a genuine question. What’s with all these beautiful Portuguese women!? Like - did y’all rob the fountain of beauty?! It’s such a pity that they’re all sitting next to a white pickle though I’m sorry, that was mean. Please forgive me Senhor Jose - but also, please don’t

This song is really catchy and it reminds me of all those summer hits you hear while partying on the beach or eating on a terrasse.  

That priest was really having the time of his life.
