Okay I just finished watching breaking away, mostly bc Daniel Stern played in it-- and Lord the film is.. GOD I loved it!!
There was so much homoeroticism and neurodivergent coding, like, WAY too much-- the main character, Dave, has a hyperfixation on Italian culture, doesn't understand social cues, and Mike and Cyril DEF have something fruity going on you CANNOT tell me otherwise--
Speaking of Cyril I am absolutely in love y'all.. madly in love, I'll talk more in depth about his character another time but just know he's just a bby and I now headcanon him as younger Marv before ya know-- the accident--
I mean theres weirdly a LOT of connections to Marv despite the film being older than home alone itself, it's actually kinda funny fjdndnd--
Both characters are well, not the brightest crayons in the box, get bullied and made fun of even by their own friends, and Cyril talks about wanting to become a cartoon character-- idk, it's just rlly funny fjdndnd
But yeah PLZ watch the film I HIGHLY recommend it!!!
