They BOTH love eachother. Their friendship is very rocky for good reasons, but they do.love eachother. They have both said they care for eachother. Trevor is like a family member to his kids, even. Trev is a horrible horrible person, but still important to him and his kids.
Kill Michael and Trevor cuts all ties with Franklin. Like a real friend should. Michael cheated on his wife. Trevor wpuldn't if he had one. T is worse than Michael and Franklin combined, but none of them are good people.
Michael and Franklin aren't saints. It really bugs me when people think Trevor is the only bad one. They all kill to get money. No GTA protag is really a "good guy." They are ALL criminals you should never want to be. Michael is a backstabber. In fact, kill T and he still hangs out with Franklin. Even shots the gasoline himself if you take too long. He's willing to get rid of a friend he's had for more than 10 years. Probably 20 years.
