I'm sure you can guess why because really just... What? I'm kind of speechless.
Then came the pertinent question of whether there are chapters in it about a character I actually want to read so I did the thing and flicked through, saw Lestat quite a lot (which of course I would want to read but hmm) and Derek a lot too (also, I apologise for misspelling his name in the first post about this). Then I got sad because: no David. And then I laughed at Gherkin (intentional misspelling because that's all I can think of when I read that name) and I realised, I'm not going to be able to finish this book without being angry so yeah. I'm done.
